Door Supervisor Training

Module 1
Role and responsibilities of a Door supervisor (15 hours)

This covers;

  • Appropriate behaviour for door supervisors
  • Civil and criminal law
  • Searches and arresting procedures
  • Drug awareness
  • Recording incidents and crime scene preservation
  • Licensing laws
  • Equal opportunities and discrimination
  • Health and Safety at work, and emergency procedures.

Module 2
Communications Skills and Conflict Management (15 hours)

This covers;

  • How to refuse entry and how to eject that reduces risk of conflict
  • Identifying the types of incidents inside a venue and how to deal with them
  • Understanding the law about arrest

At Red Carpet Security we deliver both modules consecutively so after your 30hrs training upon reaching the required standard you are eligible to apply for your SIA license.

Security Guard Training

Module 1
Knowledge based training and assessment (22.5 hours)

Door supervisor training is delivered in two modules as outlined below;

  • Roles and responsibilities of security officers
  • Customer care and social skills
  • Fire safety
  • Health and Safety
  • Dealing with incidents and emergencies
  • The Law (civil and criminal)
  • Procedures for the control of keys and equipment
  • Assignment instructions
  • Reporting

Module 2
Practical scenario based training and assessment (7.5 hours)

This section of the course covers the following topics;

  • Communication skills
  • Conflict management
